Memorising the Quran
“The best amongst you are those who learn and teach the Quran.” – Sahih Al Bukhara
This Ramadan we want to ensure that 100 new students are given the best resources available to take on the challenge of hifz. Every 15-20 hifz students have their own teacher for maximum individual supervision. In this blessed month we want to give this supervision to a further 100 students.
“Those who spend their wealth (in Allâh’s Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Quran 2.274 )
The hifz course has been offered to students since the first Dar-ul-Uloom was set up in Bhera city in 1925. The course lasts three years and students carry on regular classes alongside their Quranic studies.
It is structured to encourage students to continue Islamic scholarship at a university level, enabling them to become modern beacons of Islam.
Approximately 10 per cent of our students at each of our 200 campuses take the memorisation course and the completion rate stands at 100 per cent.
Contribute to this noble cause this Ramadan by supporting a hifz student today.
